ANNOUNCING: techsytalk

Today is one of the most exciting days in our company’s history as we launch our brand-new site – techsytalk.com!

Many of you have been faithfully following the Liz King Events blog where we have been curating the conversation around event technology since early 2010. We realized that in order for us to make a bigger impact on how the event industry embraces technology, we needed a bigger platform dedicated to that mission. For that reason, we’ve been working diligently behind-the-scenes to bring you that today and are THRILLED to welcome you to techsytalk.com.

Who We Are
techsytalk.com is an online platform that exists to bridge the gap between event technology and the event planner, powered by Liz King Events – an event firm that delivers live and virtual experiences to our clients with a bias towards event technology. We know what planners need to know about technology and we’re here to offer as many resources as we can to help you out.

techsytalk Mission
techsytalk is an “edutainment” movement created to elevate the conversation around the discovery and implementation of avant-garde event technology and raise the profile of our industry. We believe that technology is a powerful tool when used strategically to expand your brand and engage your audience. Our dream is for techsytalk to be the catalyst that helps usher in the new wave of evolving event technology and ultimately propel the events industry to unprecedented heights of techsyness. Our commitment is to provide informative and engaging resources. Always fresh, never boring.

Here are a few (FREE!) things you can expect to see from techsytalk.com:

  • Articles on event technology, event planning, social media, and entrepreneurship written by Liz King and our fabulous list of contributing bloggers. This also includes our Event Tech of the Week blog series that we’ve been running for the past 2 years.

  • We’ve also improved our event tech directory where you can learn about all kinds of products that can enhance your planning and events.

  • A new video channel – packed with our Plannertech sessions and the video interviews from the Event Tech podcast with our Plannertech speakers.

  • Meet industry thought leaders in our techsybeast of the week feature.

  • And – look out in 2014 for our meetup series for the techsybeast community starting in Feb. 2014.
