What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?

Many events, conferences and presentation-based meetings face several common problems. We identified them as audience mobile distraction, disengagement and lack of feedback. It’s now common to see attendees interacting with their mobile devices during the conference, so it’s getting harder for event profs to maintain and enhance audience engagement as well as for presenters to keep their audience involved and engaged in discussion, collaboration and peer to peer sharing.

NiceMeeting’s Second Screen Technology for Live Events offers event planners an easy and fun way to make mobile devices part of the learning experience by providing content and engagement options right on attendees’ second screens. NiceMeeting turns audience mobile devices into full-packed learning & networking platforms and enables to use them as personal conference screens to browse content, vote and interact with presenter and each other in real time. Just like a second screen for television shows, NiceMeeting Second Screen for Live Events puts the participant in the driver’s seat, enabling an active event experience, customization and control.

NiceMeeting enhances any slides’ mess into engaging presentation sessions, so even the hardest-to-read slides are seen perfectly from any place of the room. Attendees can view the slides in a live mode or turn to the preview mode to watch previous slides independently, take notes and save them on their devices, send digital questions to the speaker, and many more.

All too often, people are afraid to ask questions during a meeting or there is simply no time for Q&A. NiceMeeting encourages participants to submit questions digitally during presentation for presenter to answer, so even the shyest one can be heard. Presenters can use NiceMeeting not only for showing the presentation, but also for polling and collecting live feedback during the meeting hours.

On the other side of the screen, NiceMeeting second screen event technology provides the event planner with the most efficient way to gather the most complete and real-time data about audience attitudes towards the event and particular speakers and presentations.

The product also creates consistent paperless experience for event participants providing the functionality of digital document distribution and content sharing. Event planner or speaker can upload any event materials for public access, including text documents, spreadsheets, video files and more.

All those interactive features built in NiceMeeting help to boost audience engagement and retention and really push live events to the next level of success.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?

NiceMeeting fits naturally into many types of meetings addressing both specific and general requirements. For board meetings and executive meetings, where all participants want to have information in a palm of a hand. For breakout sessions and medium-sized conferences where it provides interactivity and enhances knowledge sharing. For bigger meetings like keynote sessions where it helps to create up-close-and-personal experience for each audience member.

In general, NiceMeeting is perfect for any kind of BYOT/D (Bring Your Own Technology/Device) meetings like education sessions and lectures or so-called “tablet-meetings” where attendees are allowed to use their PCs, laptops and tablets for interaction with presenter and event’s materials.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

NiceMeeting changes the delivery of live presentations for the better, filling the gap between live and virtual technologies by giving your audience the freedom to use personal devices, browse content and interact with more participants throughout the event. We provide for meeting planners a powerful tool to enhance the quality of any event, engage the audience more deeply and create rich, individualized, experiences for each participant.

Event planners can use NiceMeeting to make meetings more personal, targeted and interactive, eliminate paper handouts, heavy clickers and sophisticated ARS systems, get instant feedback from attendees and create new marketing channels for sponsors.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?

The Vice President of Events for a leading Financial Services Institution in the US recently stated, “NiceMeeting is as about the most sleek, bold and beautiful system we have seen to date. It’s so simple and intuitive, yet incredibly powerful in the way it has integrated some of the most amazing interactive capabilities. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and use it for many of our Banks Events and Meetings”.

NiceMeeting can be delivered from the cloud for smaller meetings and from an appliance for larger meetings, allowing NiceMeeting to be deployed in settings of almost any size and type of venue.

This level of deployment flexibility, coupled with Second Screen mirroring and full featured interactive tools, with an incredibly simple user interface to deliver presentations is what separates NiceMeeting from the current small field of competitors.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

The single coolest and at the same time unique feature of NiceMeeting is its presentation mirroring capability that allows attendees to watch speaker’s presentation in real-time on their devices and gives them freedom to do this in two different modes:

1) in a live mode – follow the presentation in sync with the presenters screen,

2) in a preview mode – switch back through the slides independently (e.g. if they missed or overlooked some details during the presentation or in case of long, informative presentations).
