The world knows me as: Luke Dancy

I have also been known to respond to the name: Duke Lancy but that’s another story.

 My professional superpower is: being a people person. I love talking to people but more importantly I love learning from people. Everyone has a story and I’m always interested in hearing what other people have to say.

 The #1 thing people can hire me to do is: to help give their brand a voice. I’m a firm believe that this is the way you truly stand out and build strong relationships. Your company should say something and represent something more than dollar signs.

 I’m most passionate about: Motivational and Keynote Speaking. I love taking a subject that’s tough to understand, or a situation that’s life changing, and putting a spin on it that people will walk away thinking about things in a new and refreshing way.

The technology that I wouldn’t want to live without is: probably my cell phone. I feel sick saying this as I’m very public about my dissatisfaction with the attention people give their phones over their relationships with children or family but when it comes to business it’s something I just need to have.

The app I use most obsessively is:  Twitter. I’m constantly on there to keep up with what’s going on, who’s doing what and if there’s any breaking news in the world.

The most innovative use of event tech I’ve ever seen is: probably has to be the 3d printers. If they can really get these to live up to their potential this would truly revolutionize the health care industry. The possibilities truly are endless if you think about it.

 My go-to guilty pleasure food is: sushi. The fact that I just ‘said’ that means I’m having it for lunch now. Thanks guys, I love ya!

The thing that always gets me to laugh without fail is: an episode of Impractical Jokers on the truTV network. Check it out if you haven’t, it’s great!

One thing that would really surprise people to learn about me is:  is that I’m also a magic consultant. I’m a producer, director and inventor of magic tricks for TV shows. I’ve been a magician for over 20 years and I love this stuff!
