What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?

The problem is that most event screens fail to engage attendees well, because the content on the screen normally gets boring pretty fast. This also robs the producers of what value the screen can be returning. Showing logos & information on an awesome looking big screen is an absolute waste of money & valuable opportunity. The VeeKast team calls it “SCREEN MURDER”. The solution to this was to create a system that can constantly provide different interactive & engaging content that people will ACTUALLY enjoy using. It’s then-that they will appreciate the logos & information that made it possible. The idea is, people don’t mind watching tv commercials that made their favorite show possible. For events, this means people won’t mind seeing sponsor media & producer media, if they see other things they actually like using.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?

Corporate Events, Nonprofit Evens, Fundraising Events, Social events, Conferences, Tradeshows. JUST ABOUT MOST EVENTS that use Audio Visual screens like 50” LED’s, Projection Screens or JUMBO Screens.  We have tier solution for small & large events.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

– Collect a lot more voluntary data
– Increase attendee participation with your event
– Increase event revenue through Sponsorship Opportunities/Fundraising Tools
– Simplifies Pre, Live & Post event operation & management

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?

We don’t really have any competitors in the space. Our main hurdle is trying to get Event Planners to ‘STOP USING POWERPOINT’ unless they are doing a presentation.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

The ability to display multiple types & pieces of content at the same time. This reduces the need for too many screens, plus it solves some problems that AV companies typically don’t have an easy way to solve unless your spending $15k plus.

Anything else we need to know?

YES! Check out our new video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REcAY9q2IMA.  If it made you laugh or you like how corny it is – contact us & let us know.

This weekly series spotlights a new tech tool that is designed to help make planning events much more seamless. Whether it’s using event software to track every detail from start to finish or mobile apps that deliver content to attendees’ fingertips, these technologies allow planners to divert their stress to more critical issues like deciding which napkin color looks best.
