Event tech of the week: @Events.com
Today, we’re talking about: Events.com

What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
We developed our innovative mobile-friendly tools to help event planners better manage, market, and monetize their events.
What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
Our simple-yet-sophisticated event registration software is so flexible that it can fit any style and complexity of event – whether it’s a simple pancake breakfast or a multi-day festival.
What does your tool help event planners do better?
Manage – From custom registration questions to in-depth and actionable reports, our software is mobile-friendly to give event planners all the access they need, at home or on the go.
Market – Our site gives you the power to put your brand front and center – from customized event headers to integrated social media feeds to keep your event page refreshed and engaging.
Monetize – With more flexible payment options, event planners can get paid up to 2 times per month, even BEFORE registration closes and the event happens.
How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
Others are bogged down with legacy software or focused more on how they can squeeze the most revenue out of an event. We took a step back with our approach, building our software from the ground up with users – and especially mobile users – first in our mind.
What is the single coolest feature of your product?
The ability to change prices, not only by date and time, but by inventory – creating that sense of urgency that helps you drive more registrations.
Anything else we need to know?
Our mission is to connect people with the experiences they love, one event at a time.
We’re pretty cool people, and we’re passionate about what we do, in and out of the office – from workouts to weekly happy hours, you’ll usually find us either hard at work building innovative tools or enjoying all that sunny San Diego has to offer.
This weekly series spotlights a new tech tool that is designed to help make planning events much more seamless. Whether it’s using event software to track every detail from start to finish or mobile apps that deliver content to attendees’ fingertips, these technologies allow planners to divert their stress to more critical issues like deciding which napkin color looks best.
