We Pinned It: Fourth of July
Oh, say can you see… a bowl filled with star shaped chunks of watermelon? Or, wait, are those blueberries and pomegranate seeds in those ice cubes? Hey, it must be the 4th of July!
Food: You’ve got to eat so you might as well make it festive, and decorating for Independence Day is always so much fun and so easy too. Swirl a little food coloring into your cupcake batter before you bake, and, voilà patriotic dessert!
Décor: Paint some mason jars, tie red and blue ribbons around them and fill with white carnations – presto! Patriotic centerpieces.
Fashion: If you are handy with a sewing machine (and even if you’re not) scraps of denim can be turned into napkin rings, bandanas can become table runners and rags can be transformed into garlands.
When the work is done, and the day has turned to night, settle in with the ones you love to watch those fireworks blaze through the skies.
