What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?

Events have always been a super targeted and attractive marketing tool for sponsors for two reasons:

  1. Events are made up of a certain mix of people who have similar interests = a very targeted audience.
  2. Attendees have purposefully chosen to be exposed to industry trends and latest developments at the event and are in the perfect mindset to absorb new information and take advantage of new opportunities.


Traditional means of sponsorship activation are here to stay as a setting stone within the sponsor’s marketing efforts. But today, events and their partners are looking for more engaging and effective ways to get their message across. And with good reason! Something is changing in the way we consume information and make decisions. Digital means of communication are becoming the standard and our attention span is getting shorter and shorter as more information becomes accessible and more entities compete over it.

Being very familiar with the ongoing challenge of enticing and retaining sponsors, and with strong technology background and capabilities, we decided to bridge this gap. What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?

Zoliro is most suitable for medium to large scale sponsored events. Brand visibility is a huge factor when it comes to sponsoring an event and creating one on one interactions is naturally easier in smaller scale event. In larger scale events, however, sponsor/attendee interactions are extremely difficult to achieve and the sponsor message often gets lost. This is where Zoliro can be best be put to work as it takes the sponsor’s brand and puts it right in the palm of the attendee’s hand, achieving visibility that otherwise would not be possible, creating 1-on-1 interaction and qualifying more leads.

What does your tool help event planners do better?

Sponsors want to know what their sponsorship has created/generated from the event which is why Zoliro is a great way not only to maximise but also to capture their ROI. Furthermore, it makes the sponsorship opportunity more attractive to sponsors as they get a clear idea of what their sponsorship yielded and therefore entices them to come back.

Zoliro is a significant tool event professionals use to entice and retain sponsors. Previous event profs that have used the tool also got direct revenue from adding the price of the bag on to the sponsorship pack.

Though we are most proud of the fact that they can do all this while enhancing and even improving the attendee experience.

Those results are possible thanks to the combination of a unique user experience that was developed with our event partners, a frictionless on-boarding process and, of course, the collaboration with the event organisers themselves.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?

Sponsor collaboration would definitely be the winner! Gone be the days of an endless stream of emails trying to figure out if you got the Sponsor’s offer right.. Event professionals can invite sponsors to personally add the content of their offer through our platform.

The sponsor simply gets an invitation mail with a link, there is no sign up, registration or anything to download. Once inside the offer space, the sponsor will have access to a bank of offer suggestions and guidance, especially tailored to their marketing objectives, to help them throughout the process to create the best possible offer.

The best thing is that everything is already done for the event prof! All they need to do is sit back, relax and approve the offer once the sponsor has finished adding it.

At the end of the event, the organiser can provide sponsors with a list of qualified leads of people who have opted in to receive emails from them and can use it for their future marketing and sales/ business development activities.
