Give us your best elevator pitch for Lucky Strike?
Lucky Strike West Nyack is a party planner’s dream. With over 28,000 square feet of lavish interior (including semi-private party spaces and stunning audio/visuals), we offer a one-of-a-kind mix of bowling, mouthwatering food, a full bar and our Killer Spin Lounge – featuring billiards, roller ball lanes, air-hockey, ping-pong and arcade games.

What would you say is Lucky Strike’s most unique offering?
The marriage of all these elements creates an atmosphere unlike any other. A lot of people come here to bowl, but just as many come to hang out and socialize because our hip, sophisticated vibe is so conducive to that. And since we have such a broad appeal, we’re able to accommodate a huge variety of party types; from bar mitzvahs to corporate outings, sweet 16’s, 40th birthday parties, you name it. Parents, kids & teens also love the fact that we’re all ages, since a lot of other places aren’t.

What do you think would surprise most planners to know about your space?
Most already know this, but Lucky Strike is so much more than just a bowling alley. We are a full service events venue with so much to offer, creating customized experiences to meet and exceed every client’s expectations. We also do all of our award-winning catering in-house, with diverse food & bar packages to suit any palette. We can even work with the client and our corporate chef directly to craft custom menus. There’s really nothing we’re not willing to try.

What is one thing you wish more event planners knew about your space?
Our layout is way more customizable than planners realize! We offer an open floor plan to all clients, which means almost limitless customization – from all out dance parties to formal sit down engagements in our banquet space.

What is the most memorable thing you’ve seen an event do with your space?
It was close to Halloween one year, and one of our corporate clients threw a massive “Monster Bash” themed team-building event. We overhauled the entire venue to fit within the theme of the event, complete with decked out ghost & goblin decorations and fully costumed staff. Their guests had a blast, and so did we.

If you could throw one dream event, what would it be?
We get a ton of celebrities coming to Lucky Strike West Nyack, so it’d be a blast to host one of their birthday parties! The whole event could be themed around their brand, with themed menu & bar options and decorations to match. We could even throw in some live music or a DJ set and make it a complete birthday/dance-party blowout. Whatever they want, we could work with it.
