What is the “problem” that your tool seeks to solve?
Private DIning Concierge (PDC) is a free online tool designed to make private dining venue selection quick and simple. While all restaurants on PDC are carefully selected for their quality in food and service, event planners can trust that the website will provide them with quality and reliable options their VIP associates will enjoy and feel comfortable in. PDC allows planners to customize their search by party size, price range, locations (Tribeca, Soho, Greenwich Village, etc.), cuisine, and features.

What is the best audience for this tool? Corporate events? Social? Other? Large? Small?
PDC is a reliable tool for all planners. The private dining and event spaces available on our website can accommodate parties for as little as 10 and as many as 150. The quality of our restaurants are well suited for both corporate dinners or special occasion social events. The price selector allows planners to find a venue that fits their budget, while the feature portion of the site searches which dining rooms have Wifi and AV options for those who have a presentation component to their party.

What does your tool help event planners do better?
Our tool helps event planners choose private dining venues that fit their specifications faster. PDC eliminates the need for having to search multiple sites or make countless phone calls. We aim to provide planners with a wide variety of restaurant options and shorten the time it takes for them to search for their ideal venue.

How is your tool different from/better than the competition?
Private Dining Concierge focuses solely on finding private dining rooms in restaurants. We understand that the best business or social events start with the right venue, we want to make it as easy as possible for event planners to find and book the space that will serve the business goals at hand. With a background in events and restaurants, we know what planners are looking for and know what restaurants can accommodate; therefore, each venue is carefully vetted by our team to ensure the quality, ambiance, and service is the best for your program.

What is the single coolest feature of your product?
The Request List is the coolest feature on PDC. When a planner considers a restaurant, their consideration is saved to their request list (shown below). This request list shows their choices and can be printed out for future reference. As the planner begins to receive responses from the restaurants they have contacted, they can note the info on the printed list.The printed request list is a great way to keep record of their efforts and can be copied for their associates’ reference.

Anything else we need to know?
Not only will Private Dining Concierge be adding more Manhattan restaurants to the website, we will begin to expand into other locations and cities around the world.
