My primary role in the events industry is: Logistics, marketing strategy, vision planning

To me, being an event hustler means: They say things may come to those who wait … but only the things left by those who hustle. So, I’m always on top of my game; I never settle for mediocrity; and I always, and in every way, hustle to keep learning.

The top 2 most surprising things I’ve learned about the events industry since starting are:

  1. Master the basics. They remain the same.
  2. Hospitality will keep clients coming back. Attitude makes a huge difference.

How did you get your start in the events industry? At the National Basketball Association

The top 2 pieces of advice I’d give to an aspiring planner are?

  1. Relationships are key.
  2. You have to be willing to fail from time to time in order to succeed.

My biggest event industry pet peeve is: Everyone is an event planner!

No such thing as TMI:

I am hands down, bar none, the hardest working event planner you will ever meet. I’m passionate; meticulous; resourceful; fun-loving; and straight shooter, who won’t take no for answer. I have the highest level of integrity and am not afraid to fail.

One thing that would really surprise people to learn about me is: I have a sweaty-palms, limbs-shaking, GET-THOSE-AWAY-FROM-ME fear of balloons.
