What would you say is your most unique offering?

Two distinct event floors with sprawling floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River each equipped with private lobbies and entrances. Although it’s located just blocks away from Times Square it still has the privacy that ensures the security of all events.

What do you think would surprise most planners to know about your space?

The sister venue to Metropolitan Pavilion, Metropolitan West brings all the experience and service that planners have come to know to a newly renovated 24,000 sq. ft. venue overlooking the Hudson River.

What is one thing you wish more event planners knew about your space?

The concierge and production services that we provide can ease the overall logistics behind planning and producing an event. Our team is equipped to handle anything and everything from accommodations, to travel arrangements, to booking transportation. These services give the planners the peace of mind in knowing that we’re here to support them in every way possible and make sure that their event is a success.

What is the most memorable thing you’ve seen an event do with your space?

Our first event was the Versus Versace’s runway show for New York Fashion Week. They transformed the venue using, extensive draping, mirrors and design elements to produce a one-of-a-kind show. This event not only showcased the space but also showcased how the venue can be transformed to accommodate any event concept no matter how large or small.

If you could throw one dream event, what would it be?

A creative, press-worthy, landmark event that fully utilizes both highly adaptable floors while also using some of the venue’s most distinctive characteristics, such as its visibility from the West Side Highway or the ability to load into the space directly from the curb large showcase items, such as luxury vehicles or elaborate set pieces.
