What would you say your most unique offering?

We have 5 distinct, customizable event spaces spanning across 4 floors. It’s perfect for conferences, corporate meetings and tradeshows that want to create custom experiences in each space for the attendees to flow through during the duration of an event.

We have an in-house, world class A/V team called World Stage. Their experience in the industry was led them to be the leader in the production of major sporting events, music events and television shows across the country. Their expertise and equipment are the sharpest in the business. They are always on the cutting edge of the latest technologies to execute top-notch events.

Their on-site presence provides clients with an additional peace of mind in knowing that the production team and event staff all work in sync to ensure a seamless production.

What do you think would surprise most planners to know about your space?

The space and out service; When you enter Metropolitan Pavilion it’s so much bigger than it looks from West 18th Street. With 5 spaces spawning over 4 spacious, bright loft-style floors it gives clients the opportunity to think big logistically and creatively for their event. Also, our service is unparalleled. Our team is experienced, committed and dedicated to each event to ensure that we meet and exceed all expectations.

What is one thing you wish more event planners knew about your space?

Customized events meet dedicated service. We have a small team that works like a family. Each and every event that comes to our venues we treat with the utmost care. With over a decade in the events industry we understand that you only have one chance to ‘wow’ a client and that competitors are literally around the corner. We want to meet and exceed your expectations so that people leave your event still talking about it days later and excited for the next one.

What is the most memorable thing you’ve seen an event do with your space?

The Knot has hosted their Couture Show her for several years in a row and each year they find a new, inventive way to turn the lobby into the ultimate bridal destination. They implement a new bridal theme each year that incorporates everything from draping, to furnishings, to elaborate chandeliers, and lace, lots and lots of lace. When attendees enter the doors and see the lobby transformed their faces blossom with smiles of excitement over the event. It really gives the feel that you’re in a couture bridal shop in Paris and not in the heart of NYC.

If you could throw one dream event, what would it be?

We would have loved to host the Democratic National Convention. We put in a bid for it when there was the possibility of it coming to New York City. It would be an honor to host such a well-recognized political event and to showcase our spaces to such a large national audience.
