Behind the Hustle: Debora Balardini (@dbalardini)

I have been a performer, theater instructor, director and producer for the past twenty five years. I have an extensive dance background in classical ballet, jazz, modern and tap dancing, as well as Hatha yoga. As an actress, I have credits from numerous performances in different countries ranging from United States, Argentina, Japan, France, Chile and my native Brazil. I’ve been exposed to various movement and voice techniques such as Suzuki, View Points, Heller Work, Ideocinese and most recently Choreographic Theatre and Roy Hart Technique with Enrique Pardo, Linda Wise, Liza Mayer and Izidor Leitinger at the Pantheatre Company in Paris through whom I met my current voice master teacher Jonathan Hart Mcwaia. I currently lead workshops for performers of all backgrounds. I am a Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of the Nettles Artists Collective and formerly the Director of Training and Development for East 3rd Ensemble. Most recently I found PUNTO -Event and Performance Space in midtown Manhattan. I am currently working on a solo project as well as a new multimedia performance with Group .BR.
